Program:

5. January: Conceptual ideas on connection and musicality, working on boleo and sacadas for both leaders and followers - The class will finish with a session on tangovals using the boleo- and the sacada-technique with the valse-rhythm.

6. January: Working on rhythm, single, double and syncopation beats, integrating it into delicate figures useful for the milonga - The class will finish with a session on the milonga-rhythm, having fun with double-beat and milonga-traspié.

7. January: The workshop will start up with issues on how to understand giros and how to use the giro and intergrate the structure with more complex steps as the colgada and the volcada. - The class will finish with a session on how to fly away, combining it all with the tangovals.

8. January: Connection technique, in parallel and crossed system, playing with alterationes, surprizing turns and musicality. The last part og the class will finish with a session on how to go in and out of the parallel and crossed system with the milonga rhythm.

9. January: The last workshop is a tribute to some of our masters, about there classic and special steps and ideas and how we use it to build our own tango and how they inspire us to create our favorite figures. Including examples from vals and milonga.
